Stephenville Mayor Tom Rose – submitted
On behalf of Members of Council and the Town of Stephenville, I am pleased to welcome a community newspaper publication, The Appalachian.
The newspaper will inform people and connect our regions through news stories and advertising. It will promote our diverse culture and will play a pivotal role in supporting and marketing our business sector in the region.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Wreckhouse Weekly for expanding from Port Aux Basques to Stephenville. Mr. Roy, your commitment is commendable, and we are truly blessed to have the Appalachian newspaper in our community.
