RCMP seek tip for St. Andrews break and enter

ST. ANDREWS — Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP is investigating a break and enter into a residence in St. Andrew’s that occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., on Thursday, December 2, 2021.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m. that day, police received a report of the theft that occurred on Main Street while the home owner was temporarily away from the residence. Suspect(s) forced entry into the home and stole items, including an undisclosed amount of cash, a laptop, a large quantity of jewellery and a quantity of alcohol.

The police investigation is continuing.
